Intermediate Division
Our Intermediate Division comprises Grades 7 and 8. In this division, our focus shifts towards developing life-long learners that are empathetic, responsible, and ethical. We strive to promote in our students a greater consciousness and awareness of the world around them; explore new visions and concepts; and develop values and lifestyles like that of our early predecessors – May Allah be pleased with them.
Students in the Intermediate Division study mainstream subjects with an emphasis on Islamic Integration. All subjects are Islamically grounded helping us reach a deeper understanding of Islam and its presence in everyday life.

Preparing Students To Excel In High School
Our strong academic program is geared to prepare students for their high school experience. Students in the Intermediate Division have taken part in many inter-school competitions including Debates for Inter-School Competition (DISC) by EduBliss achieving the bronze medal (2020), ‘Let’s Talk Science’ challenge at McMaster University, Speech Competition hosted by Al-Huda Elementary, Poetry Competition hosted by SAM Islamic School, and many sporting competitions throughout the year.
Students in the Intermediate Division are further encouraged to:
- Embody the Islamic character
- Develop traits of honesty, compassion, respect, tolerance, and leadership resulting in becoming better global citizens.
Our goal in the Intermediate Division is to develop knowledgeable students with a strong Islamic identity following the way of our Prophet (saw) and his Companions (May Allah be pleased with them) that will shape the world of tomorrow.
