Welcome back !!! We hope you all had a restful and enjoyable winter break. Alhamdulillah, it’s good to be back with renewed energy and spirits to learn.

January will be a busy month with bake sale and other interesting plans underway and being the start of our Term 2.
December in Review
Team feels Grateful already

Alhamdulillah, students are showing remarkable learning potential both in academics and extra curricular activities. We thank you for being a constant support in school projects and events. It was great seeing parent involvement in the Term Assembly & Art Show.

Our Humber Arbetorum field trip was an enriching learning experience for the students about “Animals in the Winter”.
January Lessons at a glance:

Casa I will be discussing about “Hibernation” and how Allah (SWT) prepares different animals for their survival during the winter season.

In Quran, Casa I will be memorizing Surah An-Nasr and Al-Kafiroon. In Tajweed, they will continue to learn the beginning, middle and ending shapes of the Arabic alphabet through various group activities and games.

In Arabic language, students will learn about “Farm Animals” and increase their vocabulary.

In Islamic Studies, we shall continue to learn about the “Six Beliefs of Imaan” along with focus on daily duas.

Gratitude is the essence of worship; it is the first human expression of Adam a.s.and the lasting expression of people of Jannah!

It is a new year to begin with a discussion of ‘what it is to be grateful’, to Allah swt, to people around us, and the kind of person we will grow up to be if we start expressing gratitude in words, gestures.  Let us also realize the countless blessings we have to be grateful for and thank Allah swt for them!

As teachers and parents, let’s develop ‘gratitude’ in our attitude on a daily basis, from small matters to life’s larger scope, so that our children get these lessons year round in our dealings with them and others.

Please send your child in full winter gear: snowpants, winter boots, hat, winter gloves/mittens in order for your child to play outside and have fun.

Review surahs and duas on an ongoing basis
