Junior Division
Our Junior Division comprises Grades 4, 5, and 6. As students transition from the Primary Division, they are in a rush to grow up.
Teachers invest a lot of time to get to know each child to help them as they grow together academically, socially, and emotionally.
The expectation of the Junior Division is based on:
- Writing complete sentences and paragraphs with writing conventions
- Learning the art of note-taking
- Submitting work online
- Developing independent study strategies to cope with homework assignments and project presentations
As they move to Grade 6, the emphasis is not only on academics but also on relational development. Our subjects-based teaching starts in Grade 6 to prepare them for the Intermediate Division. The marking policy in the Junior Division also changes to assigning ‘Grades’ for each level of learning. The students in Grades 5 and 6 also get to enjoy lockers.
